Hey,

I created a venue Frank A. Vincent Marina but it is showing in the wrong location. If you type Frank A Vincent Marina in Kearny, NJ in google maps it will show in the exact spot, but EE is showing it down the street a distance. http://kearnypba.com/venues/frank-a-vincent-marina/

Hi John,

It’s still a Google Map that shows the location, and you can get the exact location to display on the Google Map within Event Espresso by inputting the exact street address, which is 277 Passaic Ave, Kearny, NJ.

I just wanted to add a note to this thread for future readers (and John)

Google Maps and the Google Maps API can actually use different sets of data, so inputting the same address to both can give different results.

https://developers.google.com/maps/faq#google-maps-api-services

Currently Event Espresso just passes the full location you entered into the venue details over to the Google Maps API, from there we don’t really have much control over what it returns. This means that sometimes you’ll need to alter the address slightly and be a little more specific when using the API.
