Hi,
I am using the shortcode [ESPRESSO_TICKET_SELECTOR event_id=your_event_id] since I have registration tickets and meal tickets. However, I need to add the venue info to the same page I have my ticket selectors on. How can I do this?

Is it possible to add the venue in shortcode or to the ticket selector view?

Hi Matthew,

We do not currently have shortcodes that can be used to pull in the venue information, however the venue details are loaded on the single event page by default but it sounds like your using a custom page, is that correct?

Can you explain further how you have this setup please? I’m not sure why you need to use [ESPRESSO_TICKET_SELECTOR] for meal tickets?

I setup the custom page using the ticket_selector because I wanted to split up the registration and meal tickets. I will be adding the multi-selector add-on to this event as well.

If there are other suggestions on how to set this up with splitting the registration and meal tickets and being able to show the venue info please let me know!

Can you not just include all of the meals options within the event ticket selector?

Your 2 admission tickets can be assigned to specific datetimes, and the meal tickets assigned to a separate datetime(s) depending on how you want to monitor sold values.

That way you can use the single event page:

https://www.fgbmfamerica.org/events/2016-national-convention/

Include all of your additional details there and that will automatically display the venue information assigned to the event.

Tony,

Thanks for your input. I have the the meal tickets setup on separate times because they are purchased separately and occur at different times during the entire event. I also wanted to have some separation between the two different types of tickets to include instructions.

If using the single event page will allow me to put some separation between the different types of tickets that would be great. But right now I have not found a way to do that. However, I may have to compromise so I can have the venue info on that page!!

The other reason why I have this setup on a a different page is because the show details links are not working on the single page!!

Hi Matthew,

I followed up with you in the other thread. The reason the single page isn’t working is because it appears it’s not loading the footer template. Have you checked the template file?
