I’ve read thread after thread after thread dating back to 2013 people requesting the option of variable donations for events. The common response was always to create a ticket with a hard coded amount until something was put into Event espresso. As was always stated, because many non-profits use the plugin and need people to be able to donate what they wish, this is a much needed add-on. Back in 2014, one of the EE support staff (Lorenzo) replied here (https://eventespresso.com/topic/ee4-event-donations/) and stated that this would be available in late 2014 or early 2015. Here we are almost to the end of 2017 and still nothing that I can find. Any update on this feature?

Hi there,
Thanks for reaching out. There were also requests for a variable donation feature back in 2011 and 2012 too. I’m afraid Lorenzo’s comment about an ETA for this feature was not based on accurate information because at that time the development for this feature had not begun and was not planned to begin.
