Hi, I talked with VANCO today to find out how to identify our events on their end. So if we take a registration for multiple events, how can we tell when the money hits VANCO, which $$ went with which event/account. They said to match Fund ID & Fund Name on both sides. Where on the Event Espresso side would I enter that information? Thanks, Chellie

Hi there,
You actually do not put the fund ID or fund name in Event Espresso, Event Espresso doesn’t send that information over to Vanco. Where you can review that information is you go to Event Espresso > Transactions, and you can filter all of the Completed transactions (those have payments) then each transaction can be clicked on and will show the registrations for each event.

Thanks for the quick response. So when our book keeper gets the vanco report, she can’t really tell what came from Event Espresso registrations vs other payments made? I didn’t want to create more work for her, I was hoping it would somehow show what the transaction was for. Like when someone pays online at church through vanco they can pick where the money goes. Then when she reads the reports it shows what ministry or where that money is allocated. If I understand what you said below, it sounds like that is not possible. I tried to do an export, but I don’t see the information on who paid, just who registered and attendees names. Is there a report or export I can run to give the book keeper the information so she can match it up with money deposited into VANCO? Most cases it will be the name on the registration, but not always. Thanks again. Chellie
