I upgraded from 4.2 to 4.6 today.

I can no longer register for events. Everything else I have tested is working so far. All of my data ported over fine too.

Hi Reece, were you recently using any caching plugins such as WP Super Cache?

If so, please setup no cache rules for your Event Espresso pages to correct this issue:

Lorenzo,

The client deleted the even unfortunately.
Try this one: http://amywheeler.com/events/sytar-2015/

Also, I activated the “Phone Number” input, then deactivated it and it is still showing.

We do not use any cache plugins.

Thanks

Hi Reece, could you try the following troubleshooting steps?

1) Login to your WP Dashboard

2) Browse to the Plugins screen

3) Temporarily deactivate all plugins

4) Reactivate Event Espresso and retest registration checkout

If the error goes away (no longer appears), then a conflict with another plugin is happening here. Try restoring a few plugins at a time and then re-testing until you pinpoint the source of the conflict.

Lorenzo,

I will try that now.

Also, worth mentioning is that the “Upcoming Events” widget no longer works either.

Thanks

Lorenzo,

This plugin is causing EE not to work correctly:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/clean-and-simple-contact-form-by-meg-nicholas/

Also found out the issue with the events not displaying on upcoming.

I’ll replace this with a different contact plugin.

Thanks
-Reece

Lorenzo,

Also, while you are here. How much is it going to cost to renew my license?
Expires in a few months and could not find the renewal rate anywhere.

Thanks
-Reece

Hi Reece,

Here are our loyalty discounts for renewals:

Personal support license: 25%
Business support license: 35%
Developer support license: 50%

The renewal offers will go to the email on the account a few weeks before the support license expires. We do not auto-bill or auto charge for renewals.

Your support license is a personal support license so you would receive a unique link with a 25% savings for your renewal

Hope that helps!

Lorenzo
