I am trying to reuse the [event_list] short code used in the default “Payment Details” message to the primary registrant on the “Registration Approved” message to the Event Admin message.

They come up different in each email likely because of coding, which is fine… BUT I want to keep the summary provided when using [event_list] in the “Registration Approved” message to the Event Admin.

Can I somehow recreate the content generated by [Event_lsit] on the “Payment Details” message with another short code for the “Registration Approved” message to the Event Admin?

Ultimately I am trying to show how much of each ticket type was purchased in the whole order like the “Payment Details” message offers but instead in “Registration Approved” message. Can that be done?

Hi there,

[EVENT_LIST] itself does very little.

Most of the _List shortcodes basically just call another section, so in this example [EVENT_LIST] calls the EVENT_LIST section for the specific message template you are editing, each of them are different and you can view them in each individual template.

There’s nothing stopping you from adding additional shortcodes into any of the templates, but the reference to event_list above is a little confusing and I’m not really sure I follow what you need.

You can do something like this:

https://monosnap.com/file/ubs1KR6rMR8efHthLj3jhAmRMDMj76

Which is basically just copying the shortcodes from the payment received email into the Reg Approved (Event Admin context) template.

Is that what you’re trying to do?

If not, if you can give me an example of what you are looking for, manually type it into an email etc I’ll see if what you want is possible but right now I think you may be heading down the wrong path looking into EVENT_LIST.

Funny, I just realized all the dialogue boxes with the shortcode tags in them and what appears everytime it is used for that message option right before you responded. Wonderful set-up. Thank you.
