Hi Seth

Please could you let me know if, once I’ve installed the EE Stripe Payment plugin and activated it, whether I need to do anything to the previously setup Paypal settings / interface to take that down, or does the Stripe Payment plugin, by being active, overwrite and deactivate the paypal one?

Many thanks.
Dee

Hi Dee,

All of EE’s payment methods on your site are managed through your admin under:

Dashboard -> Event Espresso -> Payment methods

So if you install and active the Stripe payment method add-on, it will show up in the above section for you to enable.

Like this: https://monosnap.com/file/nNpcCkxOFQW5dwwyEENdwOsfaxSoDu

Enable the Stripe payment method and follow the steps posted here to connect your site to your Stripe account:

Then in the same payment method section, you click on the PayPal payment method you are using, let’s say your using ‘PayPal Standard’, click on that and at the bottom of the settings will be ‘Deactivate PayPal Standard Payments?’, click that to deactivate it so only Stripe is left enabled.

Is that what you are looking for?
