Is there anyway to display the featured image within the description on the individual event page?

Hi there,

Event Espresso events are custom posts on your site, which means the output is mostly controlled by your theme, we inject additional event details into the_content but not the feature image many themes add it in, meaning we’d be adding it again.

Does your theme provide any options to display the feature image within a settings/control panel?

Thanks, for your reply Tony, To be honest, I don’t have a clue as to where to even look for that. Our Theme is Rife Free. I’ll keep looking to see what I can find but what you speak of is exactly what I would want.

Hi,

I installed the Rife free theme onto one of my sites and I do not see a setting for showing the featured images on the single post page. It does show the featured image on the archives page though.

If you’re comfortable with adding a bit of PHP code to a functions file on your site the featured image could be added to the single event post page. Please let us know if that’s something we could help with.
