Using Categories with Add to Cart shortcode?

I’m using this Add to Cart shortcode with the Multiple Events Registration Add-On, as documented at https://eventespresso.com/wiki/multiple-event-registration-add-on/:

[ESPRESSO_CART_LINK event_id=1-2-3 anchor=’Register for this Event’]

It works fine. My question is, can I use a category ID instead of individual event IDs?

No the short code only accepts event IDs.

Hi there,

Its currently not possible to use a category ID with the shortcode.

The function used for that shortcode is pluggable so with the help of a developer it would be possible to pass a category, pull the events from that category, loop over the ID’s add add them as if they had been set using the event_id parameter.
