Great looking plugin! I have a few questions that i could not work out using the demo and glancing over the docs
I would like my site to allow teachers to register then book in students for a series of courses over a couple of days.
The teachers would be able to:
1) add and remove the students from events and this would be reflected in the number of tickets remaining
2) to see only their student bookings
3) get a summery (or even better itinerary) of all their students’ courses
The students would not be able to be booked into more than one course at a time.
Probably a long shot that it can do this but it looks like such a good solution…
You *might* be able to achieve that by using the built in roles and capabilities in EE4 and creating a custom plugin/function that limits the teachers access in most areas but allows it in some.
EE3 has something called the Roles and Permissions Basic and Pro addons, that could sort of achieve this. EE4 doesn’t, but has a better underlying code system that can be used.
Regardless, one major hurdle that would be very difficult to overcome would be to give several teachers access to the same event but limit them access to only particular attendees.
We also don’t have any system that “The students would not be able to be booked into more than one course at a time.”.
So really, to get those exact needs met, you would be looking at some custom development to the plugin, and not all needs might be met even with that.
Sorry about that. Please do let me know if you have any other questions or need clarification on anything.
