User Registration no sync with 'My Event'

Dear Lorenzo Caum,
Currently our event espresso having some problem.

As user already register, when they pending purchase / make a purchase ticket. After that, they click ‘My Event’ page, unable check the purchase history, there’s are no record about the ticket select by user.

In backend system already record user as pending payment / Completed, but user check their own history no record found.

This is happening because you have the option ‘Always sync contact information with WP user profile?’ set to No.

That option is within Event Espresso -> Registration Form -> User integration Settings.

When that option is set to no the registration form first name, last name and email address must ALL match the user account for EE to assign the registration to the user account.

As your user doesn’t have a first or last name set within the account this won’t match the registration details and the account is not linked with the EE contact. In order for the registrations to link to your users you’ll need to set that option to Yes, then when they next register onto EE their EE contact will be assigned to their user account (note that their WP User profile details will also be updated to match the details they use in the registration form)

Hi Support,
But if set option ‘Always sync contact information with WP user profile?’ to Yes.
When user register to buy multiple ticket with different person, the backend system only able display primary registrar name only.

That would happen regardless of that setting, it happens if you don’t request the ‘Personal Information’ question group for additional registrants on the event.

So in this screenshot – http://take.ms/1CBvc

The bottom ‘Personal Information’ question group would need to be checked on the event.

Hi Support,
I Have try test, and found the problem is if a primary registrar using his own login access, but when register form they change the primary registrar Last & First name but remain their email as help register for other ppl

The the history unable record the data as the last & first name not match with the email login

Is is able to solved?

That’s currently expected behavior with the WP User integration add-on.

It links registrations that match your EE contact and WP user profile.
