In our association members typically purchase tickets for other members for an event they may or may attend themselves. They’d like to be able to login again (same user) after initial registration/purchase and purchase more tickets/registrations for other people for the same event. We get the error message that they (user) are already registered for the event. We offer member and non-member pricing, they are required to log-in to receive the discount.
We don’t have the ability to add registrations to a current group registration. You can use the WP User Integration add-on to set non-member pricing, and they will have to log in to get the member pricing.
If you enter different information for the subsequent attendees, you should not receive an error.
I guess I wasn’t clear enough on the way I worded the question. Is there a way for an already registered attendee to log-in again with their same log-in info, for that same event, and purchase more tickets/register others? Having a user only have one shot at purchasing tickets/attendance for an event is very limiting.
Hello, not currently because the WP User Integration performs a sync during registration checkout.
This means that if they login and provide an new name and email, then any prior registrations would be updated to that new information.
