When migrating the site to a new hosting the user permissions sort of got screwed and now i cannot access the General Settings with my Admin account. When I created a Espresso Master Admin user it just would not let me access anything at all.. i couldn´t even see Event Espresso on the sidebar.
How can I override these settings through FTP so i can set my self as a Master Admin again, and more importntly WHY CAN´T I SEE THE GENERAL SETTINGS TAB??? IM ON EE3.. Any help is more than welcome!
As far as i can tell.. should I deactivate all other EE plugins and check? DO i need Master Admin permission to access the general settings area?
I specifically want to change our business address as it appears in the automatic invoice.. I am assuming this setting is changed from within the General Settings, right? I dont see the point of having this be so complicated..
Normally this isn’t so complicated and is likely the result of a mistake made while migrating the site to new hosting. Maybe this will work: You can try creating a new “Administrator” level account, then see if you can load up that General Settings page.
