User managed events, monetization by ticket fee

How easily can we customize Event Espresso aiming to achieve functionality similar to eventbrite.com.

We are specifically interested in the possibility of users creating and managing their own events, selling tickets and then monetizing by charging a small commission on the sale of these tickets.
