I posted this on another thread and dismissed it because I though it was because the pages were set to private.

Here is the thread:
https://eventespresso.com/topic/attendee-edit-entry-information-link-in-email-confirmation-v-3-1-36-2-beta/

I am having the same problem with the user confirmation email Edit Registration Detail link. It’s sending an incomplete URL;

Example:
http:/?r_id=94-52cc3e0087a09&id=52&event_id=94&edit_attendee=true&single=true

I’m guessing its missing this part: //laverne.edu/information-session after the http:

What else could cause this, am I missing a setting in the admin that sets the site url?

Hi Deborah,

Can you try adding the email into the Email Manager (Event Espresso > Email Manager) and then selecting it within the event, instead of adding it directly into the email manager within the event?

Unfortunately we cant do that, the user has a specific email confirmation per event. If you can point me in the direction of the function that creates the registration link I might be able to fix it.

Hi Deborah,

If you go to Event Espresso > Email Manager, you can add as many email responses as you like, then select the email response within the Event setup.

I think the additional level of complication is that they need to manage their events via CSV upload. They tweak the email confirmation in the excel sheets they work on. But I think maybe I can talk them into using the email manager. Thanks!

So you think that this is a bug in the individual event email confirmation meta-box?

Deborah,

This is the line of code that builds the URL for the edit attendee function:

$url = add_query_arg($array, get_permalink($org_options['event_page_id']));

So you could check in the wp_options table for the event_page_id in the serialized data that makes up the events_organization_settings.
