Hi –

I am having a similar issue to the one posted in the forum here: https://eventespresso.com/topic/ee4-use-attendee-1s-information-for-all-attendees-not-working/

However our reCaptcha is not enabled. When someone tries to register and use the “Use Attendee #1’s information for ALL attendees” the fields do not get populated and the customer is unable to move past the registration form to pay without manually entering all of the registrants information.

Our registration form requires a minimum of 11 registrants and it’s located here: https://cocnl.com/web/events/young-warriors-program-registration/

Any swift support would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Hello,

The copy feature will copy between system-created personal questions. I noticed that your custom questions for the additional registrants do not have an email address.

If those are custom questions, then the information from the personal question group for the primary registrant won’t be copied over.

Hi Lorenzo,

So if I understand correctly, only system-created personal questions will be copied using this function?

In our case, we have multiple Events which a visitor can register for and for each event they can register multiple attendees. What is the best way to handle this to allow the ‘Attendee #1’s information for All attendees’?

Here is a scenario:
> Event 1 – Registrants can register as many individuals as they want and this event pulls in system generated personal info (which currently includes First, Last name & email) and it also pulls in Address information for the primary registrant (only).
> Event 2 – Registrants have to register a chaperone and a minimum of 10 children. This event automatically selects the system generated personal info for the primary registrant (or chaperone) and for the 10+ children registration requirement I select the system generated personal info plus another custom question group which includes age and gender.

It sounds to me like the only way to enable the use attendee 1’s info on the 2nd event is to include age and gender as mandatory questions for the primary registrant? If this is the case then I believe this will effect Event 1 where age and gender are not relevant but now have to be included in the system generated personal information group.

Hopefully this makes sense?

I’m essentially trying to use this attendee copy function on multiple events without having one effect the other in terms of the required fields.

No, any matching question will be copied over. The problem with the way your form is set up is there isn’t anything from attendee 1’s form that actually can be copied over to the other form fields. This is because the other attendee form fields are using different fields.

While the labels match (First Name = First Name), the First Name field for the additional registrations isn’t actually a system question is it?

Ok I understand. I have tried a few of the fields to align with the primary registrant and function appears to be working now. My apologies for the confusion.
