I recently manually installed Event Expresso Version 3.1.29.1 and I did this manually on the following URL;
point7.co.uk/wp-content/plugins/event-expresso/ (as per Zip folder)
The issue is that Paypal payment option uses graphics which the URL is set to;
http://point7.co.uk/wp-content/plugins/event-espresso.3.1.12.P/gateways/paypal/btn_stdCheckout2.gif
Is the fix as simple as renaming the event-expresso file or will this have implications elsewhere?

I tried renaming the folder and this does not work

I have put a temp folder in as a work around, however this is not ideal.

Hi,
You can go to the Payment Settings > Paypal, and deactivate and reactivate the gateway.
Also you can set the url for the image manually in the settings too, to http://point7.co.uk/wp-content/plugins/event-espresso/gateways/paypal/btn_stdCheckout2.gif
