Since our latest update of Event Espresso (4.9.45 > 4.9.46) we are unable to access the wp-admin. I’ve already tried to reset it’s version to the previous one and this way i’m able to access it.
The biggest issue atm is that since our update of the addon ‘Event Espresso – Ticketing’ people aren’t able to download tickets but just redirect to the homepage of our website. http://www.bab-bkr.be/aankomende-vormingsavonden/
This is a very urgent problem because the ticketsale starts tomorrow morning.
You might try downloading a fresh copy of Event Espresso 4.9.46.p and install the fresh copy on your site to ensure your site isn’t missing any files. Also please check to make sure you have the current version of the add-ons installed.
With regards to the tickets, you’ll need to make sure that the Ticketing message type is activated in Event Espresso > Messages > Settings > html.
Can you see the ticket message type within Event Espresso -> Messages -> Default message templates? (you may have multiple pages so check them all)
If no go to Messages -> Settings, drag the ticket message type to the inactive message types, wait a few seconds and drag it back to the active messages. Now do you see the template and do the links work?
Also what happened when you tried to access wp-admin? Whitescreen?
Idd, the message disappeared in the email settings, i’ve redragged and that solved the problem. Only there’s still the issue with the link in the email itself.
The shortcode ‘[TXN_TICKETS_URL]’ just redirects to the homepage.
If i update the event espresso all the links of the admin redirect to the homepage (http://www.bab-bkr.be/)
Can you explain the issue a bit more? You mention you can’t access the wp-admin, what actually happens? Do you get a white screen, does an error message display? If there’s a white screen, have you tried activating WP_DEBUG to capture the error?
