Their are individuals who are marked as pending or incomplete and when I go to view the attendee the Total Amount Owing is a negative number and the Total Amount Paid to Date is a positive number. What does this mean? To me it seems as if they owe nothing but in reality we have not received any payment from them? I tried to edit the Total Amount Owing but I can not change that as that number should be a positive number and I can not edit the total Amount Paid to date either as that should say $0. Please help very urgent. |
Hi Douglas, Which version of Event Espresso is installed, are all the add-ons up to date, and are there any older template files in /wp-content/uploads/espresso/templates? |
I had the previous version installed and now I have gone ahead and upgraded to the latest version. Add it still says they paid the full amount, however, they have not paid the full amount. |
Also since updating my registration page is displaying the order numbers on the events please see this page: http://www.sealtrainingadventures.com/program-registration |
Hi Douglas, Can you check to see if the add-ons are up to date, and there are no templates in /wp-content/uploads/espresso/templates? |
I see widget.php, shopping_cart.php, return_payment.php, registration_page_display.php, etc. and a CSS folder. Should I remove all of these? |
Hi Douglas, The templates in /wp-content/uploads/espresso/templates will override the templates in Event Espresso, so these should be removed. You can copy these to another location if you need these for reference in the case where the older templates had some customization work done. There is a button in Event Espresso>Template settings that will automatically rename the /wp-content/uploads/espresso/templates directory, which serves the same purpose as removing them. |

This fixed how the events are displayed on that page but people are still marked as incomplete or pending yet it says the Total Amount Owing is 0.00 and the Total Amount Paid to Date is the full event price. However, these individuals have not paid for the event. I need to change the Total Amount Owing to the full price of the event and the Amount Paid to Date to $0.00. How do I do this? |

Please this is very urgent we are losing a lot of sales because of this. |
Hi Douglas, I need to know which version number you had installed before you updated. Also, can you try deactivating and reactivating Event Espresso to ensure that the update db script gets run? Can you also post a link to the registration page for the event where this is happening? |
I deactivated/activated it and it still is wrong. The registration page for the events is http://www.sealtrainingadventures.com/program-registration/ But I don’t believe that has anything to do with it, this is in the backend of event espresso that I see the problem, would it be faster if you just look in the backend? |
Hi Douglas, The problem originates on the front end when these registrations were made earlier. Since there were older templates in /wp-content/uploads/espresso/templates, these registrations didn’t record to the database correctly. Now that the older templates are no longer overriding the registration process, any new registrations should be fine. But let’s check that first. I’ll submit a test registration right now and see how it goes. |
Okay, I just submitted a test registration. Did it get marked as incomplete, or complete? |
It is marked as incomplete and the Total Amount Owing is correct. Now, how do we go about fixing the previous ones because I am unable to send them the correct invoices? |
Hi Douglas, One way would be to create new attendee records in the admin, and then delete the old records. |
