Upgrading to EE4 (2)

Hi,

We are wanting to upgrade to EE4 from EE3 but are concerned that we will make a mistake and lose the data in our system. We are currently selling event tickets and have major event ticket sales starting in August. Can you perform the upgrade for us on our end if we give you access to the account and all of our passwords to access the WordPress side server on our end?

Hi there Paul,

We do not offer upgrade services at this time but it is something that we are considering as a priority service.

When you first activate Event Espresso 4 (after deactivating EE3), the software will prompt you to migrate your information or start over. If you choose to migrate then your events, attendees/registrants, venues, organization information and other data will be transferred to Event Espresso 4.

You shouldn’t run into any issues but we recommend backing up as its a good practice.

I also want to mention that certain addons for Event Espresso 3 are not currently available for EE4 but will be in the future. You may find these links helpful:
