Upgrade issue, license reset, now WP not working

You reset our license, but now worse issues have occured. I go to the login page for WP and this pops up: Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /home/mygiving/public_html/wp-content/plugins/espresso-services/index.php:22) in /home/mygiving/public_html/wp-login.php on line 362

You have installed the espresso-services files in the wrong place. That is not a plugin and should only be loaded in the WordPress root directory.

What does this mean. We were not able to put the license in anywhere, as we have been locked out since the license was reset last night.

Also, we had a license before, and we were told we had to purchase a new one. So, I just purchased another one for $89.95, which I should not have had to purchase since we already have one that you were resetting. We would like a refund on the one purchased today.

Seth – we can’t even log in to change anything on our Word Press site. When we go into http://www.mygivingpoint.com/wp-login we get to the login page but it gives us a warning. Then, we can fill in our login stuff, but again it gives us a warning. We can’t do anything on our site. HELP please.

You need to go into the server control panel, or via FTP, and remove the wp-content/plugins/espresso-services folder. The espresso-services folder should not have been installed there, as per the instructions on the page or was downloaded from.

Hey Seth . . . we’ve figured out what you said to do and have deleted it as a plugin.

However, with the deleting of old versions of event espresso yesterday, we think we deleted it entirely from our wordpress as there is no event espresso link on the left hand screen anymore (where we should be copying the site license).

Any suggestions on that issue?

Just download the plugin from your account area of our site and reinstall it.

Sorry to bother you again – are we able to get the $89.95 back from today for the Personal License, as we already have the business one that we purchased a couple of weeks ago.
