Updating EE does 504 Gateway Time-out 504 Gateway Time-out nginx/1.24.0

The plugin does not want to update. It gives a 504 error.
Please help.

Hi there,

Are you still running into problems if you try to update now?

The error above means your server didn’t receive a response from ours.

If did not work, You could also follow these steps:
1) Download the plugin from your account page on this site
2) Deactivate and delete the old version of Event Espresso.
​3) Upload the new plugin to your site via Dashboard -> Plugins -> Add New.
3.) Activate the plugin.
