Updated EE, table plugin causing problems

Hi there

I updated my version of EE this morning, and now am having a problem with the tables plugin. If I enable it, I can see the tables, but individual event pages don’t load on the front end (just their titles). If I disable it, all of the events work as individual pages, but the shortcode where tables should be is visible (and we use the tables a lot for future and free events, so a lot of our content is currently not accessible to our users…)

Haven’t updated anything else, was working fine before. Have tried downloading, deleting and reinstalling table plugin, but problem persists. Help please?

Hi there,

Can you please share the direct link to the page with the table and the page with the issue so that we can take a look at it?

Looking forward to helping you.

Hi Sam, thanks for the response. We’ve got dozens of tables on the site, not just one, sadly. It’s a plugin we use a lot.

As mentioned above, I’ve had to disable the plugin temporarily since the upgrade.

When it’s enabled, you can see the tables, listing events by category and the URL links as they should – but every one of the links leads to a page that just has the title of the event and nothing else (also looks different, like the css isn’t being picked up or something?).

When the plugin is disabled, all of the URLs appear to work fine. And that’s the priority with as little downtime as possible, as we get bookings 24/7.

So an example of a page that *should* have a working table and is (currently) only showing visible shortcode on the front end is this one It usually displays the next few occurances of events in the same category. You can still see the shortcode (unchanged) that was working this morning 🙂

Hope that helps?

Hi Tony, too big for an install through the WP interface, but have manually reinstalled. Yes, this seems to have brought everything back to life, thank you so much.

An error message flashed up during activation that might be useful. Have screenshot, but can’t see how to send that to you on this forum & whether it has private / secure info…
