Update to WordPress 5.3 Broke Event Time

So I understood that there were settings both in wordpress and in event espresso for time zones. Both of mine are set correctly.

When I updated one of my websites to WordPress 5.3, it broke the time zone functionality and all of my new events were offset by 6 hours.

My Event Espresso Version is 3.1.37.12.L

PHP Version 5.6.37

Hi Scott,

The 3.1.37.12 version is not compatible with WordPress 5.3.

The current version of EE3 is compatible with WordPress 5.3.
You can manually update to the current version of EE3 (available to download here).

Manual update step by step instructions:
1) Download the plugin
2) Deactivate and delete the old version of Event Espresso
​3) Upload the new plugin to your site via Dashboard -> Plugins -> Add New
4) Activate the plugin
