UPDATE to 4.8.1 FAILED

I clicked to update my event esspresso plugin, it disappeared from my plug-ins list. I tried to download and resintall it and I get an error:

nstalling Plugin from uploaded file: event-espresso-core-reg.zip
Unpacking the package…

Installing the plugin…

Destination folder already exists. /home/content/44/7496344/html/wp-content/plugins/event-espresso-core-reg/

Plugin install failed.

HELP, we have no event espresso on our site now.

Hi there,

Can you FTP into your server and remove the folder that already exists, then try again?
