Hi Margo,

Have you checked out this thread https://eventespresso.com/topic/update-on-license-key-issues/ regarding the licence issues?

If you are having issues, we can look to resolve it for you if you can provide us with login details for both WordPress and FTP via the contact page here https://eventespresso.com/contact/ and choose “I am sending login details as requested”

Can you provide some more info regarding the calendar please? Is it showing an error or just disappeared? HAs anything been updated at all?

Hi Dean,

Thanks for your reply. I did get it all to update finally. I deleted and uploaded newer version and it worked.

My calendar just disappeared. It’s still not showing, but I had some file issues so I will check on that further and let you know if I can’t get it fixed.

Thanks!

Hi,

You may have outdated template files in the wp-content/uploads/espresso/templates directory. You can test this by clicking the “Rename Templates Directory” button. This can be undone via FTP.

Hey there,

I tried this patch idea:

The theme (or another plugin) is loading up a newer version of jQuery (version 1.8.3), which our current calendar is not compatible with. The current version of jQuery that ships with WordPress is 1.7.2.

We’ll be updating the calendar to be compatible with newer versions of jQuery in the next update.
You can manually patch the calendar by following these steps:
Download this file
Unzip,
and upload fullcalendar.min.js to the espresso-calendar/scripts directory, replacing the existing fullcalendar.min.js file that is there.

And still no calendar. I’m now looking at the template folder and clicked rename, but, not sure what to do now…do I check dates, or rename?

Thanks!

Hi,

It looks like the theme is wrapping the scripts in paragraph tags. First thing is to check to see if raw tags work. On your calendar page try [raw][ESPRESSO_CALENDAR][raw] (and try the capitalised version of RAW as well).

This isn’t a guaranteed fix, as the theme needs to support this option. IF not then you may need to either look to the functions.php of the theme to see if there is code similar to this http://www.wprecipes.com/disable-wordpress-automatic-formatting-on-posts-using-a-shortcode and remove it or speak to the theme developer.

Hi Dean,

Okay, I tried the raw addition in caps as well as lower case. Nothing.

Looked in the functions.php of the theme and saw nothing like that code.

Contacted the theme developer (Eventure) and posted your post and they said that function isn’t used anywhere in their theme and they don’t support for plugins.

So, I’m back to you guys 🙂

Here’s the link to the page it disappeared from.

Thanks for your help.
