Since updating to the latest version of event espresso, I get this message : WordPress database error: [You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near ‘Admission’)’ at line 1]
INSERT INTO wp_events_prices (event_id, event_cost, surcharge, surcharge_type, price_type, member_price, member_price_type) VALUES (‘9’, ‘28.00’, ‘0.00’, ‘flat_rate’, ‘General Admission’, ‘28.00’, ‘Membres d’Admission’)
That prevents me from setting a price for my events. I have wordpress 3.4.2
Is there anything I can do?

I just tried to uninstall and re install event espresso. It didn’t change anything…

Hi Daniel,

You can fix this by removing any single quotes/apostrophes from the ticket price labels. eg Membres d’Admission. After you save the event, you can add them back in.

Thanks that worked. Just in case you didn’t know, Membres d’Admission appears in the french traduction of the plugin, it wasn’t a ticket’s tag.

We are aware of the French translation including the single quote in the label. The only case where it’s an issue is for events created prior to updating 3.1.28 that get updated after upgrading to 3.1.29. Newly created events will be okay.
