Update of Event Espresso

Hello, i need to upgrade Event Espresso, but get the message “There is an automatic update for Event Espresso available but your Site License Key has not been set. Please go to the Event Espresso General Settings page to set your Site License Key for this addon.”
The key is on the right place, and i have tried to copy an place the agein, – but no change. I have upgraded the account to business today, but no change of the message.

Do i need to do the upgrade manually? Do the message disepear if I delete and install EE manually?

Hi Lise,

That’s kind of strange. What we can do is reset the key for your site. I’ll reset that right now, and what you can do next is go to Event Espresso>General settings on your site and remove the key there and save. Then you can go to your account page and copy then paste the new key from the account page into the key field in Event Espresso>General Settings, then save again.

If you continue to have issues the update, there’s a limitation in the update system that affects multi-site installations. Basically, it wasn’t designed to work with Multisite. Do you have a single site installation of WP?
