EE3 is running a bit rough lately on our production site (causes the wp-admin to give an error 500 or blank out). So I’m considering an upgrade to EE4 (still missing the REM though).
I did download EE4 from my personal page and started the upgrade on a copy of our production site.
After a while, the upgrade process just stops. I did wait like 30 minutes but is still there.

I’m running latest versions or nearly latest versions of WP and plugins.
What do you propose?
I can advise upgrading your server to have more memory available. The problems you were having with EE3 and the timeouts you’re seeing with migrating data to EE4 both indicate the server is strained due to running low on memory.
I upped the memory from 128 to 256M and it’s true the site runs much better now.
