Morning Guys.
A little update to the following ticket that was created here ” https://eventespresso.com/topic/espresso_event_attendees-not-showing-any-attendees/ ”
I have created a page for another event to display the attendees and seems to be working on this one
” http://raceinfo.co.za/event-attendees-imbube-kings-marathon/ ”
But on the original page that i had queried about the same codes are used but does not work
” http://raceinfo.co.za/event-attendees-sa-run-4-cancer/ ”
Any idea on what i could do to get them working.

Hi Andrew,
It’s working on the Kings marathon page because your next upcoming event is the IMBUBE KINGS MARATHON event which is what those shortcodes are trying to use.
The ESPRESSO_EVENT_ATTENDEES is trying to work out the event you are using automatically, it does this a few ways but in short, if you haven’t set an event_id it pulls the next upcoming event and uses that. (You can’t set both an event_id and ticket_id with that version either, just in case you’re about to try that)
The ticket ID’s you’re using on the shortcode match your next upcoming event, so it works as it has the correct event and the correct ticket ID’s for that event. That page will also stop working when your next event becomes the next upcoming event. (Because it has the wrong event for the ticket ID supplied)
It’s down to an issue with how the shortcode is pulling the event and the order in which the event, ticket and datetime attributes take priority on the shortcode, so it’s a bug.
We’ve fixed the problem and it will be included in the next version of Event Espresso.
