Update attendee data error message?

Hi there,

I am getting the following red error message at the top of my Event Espresso wordpress admin: Event Espresso attendee data needs to be updated. Please visit the Support page to configure update the attendee information.

When I visit the support page there’s no instructions or area to update or configure this??

Any help would be appreciated. Ingrid

Hi Ingrid,

The following steps should update the attendee information:

1) Add this line of code to the very end of the espresso.php file:

event_espresso_update_attendee_data();

2) Then navigate to the Event Espresso>General settings page and save the settings.

3) Then remove the above function from the espresso.php file.

It should be noted that this only a temporary solution until we add the attendee update script back into the system.

Seth how long will it be before you all add the script back? I have the same message and I’m not sure but it seems like this is also associated to an issue where i am no longer receiving a copy of registration confirmations. Please advise.

Hi Ashile,

I can’t speak for Seth as to when this will get added back into the plugin, but if you send WordPress admin level log in credentials + FTP credentials via the contact form on this page: https://eventespresso.com/contact/ we can update the attendee data.

Select the “I am sending login info as requested” department form, and please be sure to copy and past the URL of this forum thread where it asks for the forum URL.

It’s planned to be included in the next version of Event Espresso.
I’ve completed the steps Josh listed above, so see if you are getting the error now.
