Some users are reporting that they see events in their cart that they did not choose and they are having a problem getting rid of them. I tried registration cancelled but it still happens. I have testing on all my browsers, IE 8,9, Google Chrome 21.0.1180.83 m, Safari 5.1.7 and FireFox 14.0.1

I cannot reproduce this problem, has anyone seen this before?

Thanks Dave

I haven’t heard of that happening. Can you ask your users for more details?

Hi,

Most of them told us the next day after registration but the person I had on the phone said they placed the event in their cart and other events appeared. They would remove the events they didn’t want and when they chose another event the event they removed would appear again.

Now their computer might have had a virus, spyware or their cookies got messed up. This is the only thing that I can think of because I tried many times on different computers that I have and I cannot repeat what happened. I was asking here to see if anyone else experienced this.

We open registration to over 1500 people and our server gets 700-800 unique hits in the first 2 minutes of opening registration and we have over 25 events they can choose from. Since registration is closed I will have to wait for December to see if it happens again.

How do you have your add to cart link on the site? Are you using a shortcode or is it just in the event list? If you have a shortcode, do you have multiple events hyphenated in the event ID? e.g.

[ESPRESSO_CART_LINK event_id="6-7"]

I am using both, but each shortcode only has one id.

What version of Event Espresso are you using? Can you post a link to the event registration page?

Hi Dave,

Was this on a specific event? I’m assuming it is, because you said registration is closed, but you have other events with open registration. I’ve tried it on several of your events and also can’t reproduce it.

This is what I heard from others, that events were showing up in their cart. I can’t reproduce what they are saying either.
