Unpaid Transactions – Applying Discounts

In Event Espresso > Transactions > View Transaction administrators can apply a Promo Discount Code. Is there an add-on or another solution you are aware of to allow admins to selectively apply a discount to tickets in an unpaid transaction? I know we can apply a “payment” but we would like to be able to apply a discount selectively (like payment) and show the discount on tickets in invoices.

Hi there,

Not currently no, EE doesn’t apply promotions on a per ticket basis, it applies promotions on ‘events’ within the transaction.

Payments can be applied to specific registrations but then those obviously show up as payments, the only other way to change the ticket price on current transaction is to use the Attendee Mover add-on to move the registration to a checper ticket.
