Hi Event Espresso,

Is there a way to specify that answers to the questions in the registration forms should be unique, e.g. users have to sign up with a unique email for each ticket bought?

Just a note on this, I don’t want to force users to log into the system, as the site is selling both member and non-member tickets.

Hi Deon,

By default, additional registrations in Event Espresso will be associated with the primary registrant or the first person that is registering.

If you are wanting to collect registration details for every pricing option for an event, then you can enable the personal question group for additional registrants along with any custom registration groups that may be available. Then save changes to the event.

Hi Lorenzo,

Thanks for your reply, I’ve set this up to ask questions for both primary and secondary registrations, but the question still remains; can I set this to only accept unique answers for the fields? e.g. if they fill in the same for primary and secondary then throw a warning/error?

Hi Deon,

Currently not, Event Espresso does not check for unique values used in the fields within in the registration form.
