Unable to Update Stripe Gateway Plugin to 1.0.15.p

An error appears when trying to update to the new version of Stripe Gateway plugin (1.0.15.p). The error is due to failure to copy some files, usually (as WP shows) because inconsistent file permissions.I’ve checked permissions of plugin and everything looks fine. eea-stripe-gateway permission is drwxrwxr-x+

Can you help on where to look for the error?

You can also check the wp-content/plugins/ folder’s permissions. If all else fails you can remove the current version you have from your site, and install the new version. Your Stripe settings will persist in the database even if you delete the stripe plugin files from your site.
