When I’m logged in I can register for a course but when I’m not logged in I cannot register I get the “Nothing in your Event Queue
You need to select at least one event before you can proceed with the registration process.”
WPEngine has server-side caching enabled by default which you will need to request is disabled for EE critical pages, we have some documentation on this here:
I see that your site is hosted on WPEngine, which that particular server set up sends a cached version of the page to logged out vistors. What you can do is contact WPEngine support and ask them to bypass caching for the registration-checkout and thank-you pages. You’ll find more information here:
