Hey there πŸ™‚

Currently one is unable to translate the Buttons in the Calendar Addon. I mean \’Today\’\’Month\’\’Week\’\’Day\’, The Names of the Month and the Days and their abbreviations.

With every new update of the calendar addon, the translations on the calendarsettings were DELETED πŸ™ I could use copy and paste of my old settings, but what if you correct a tiny little bug like a missing simicolon, and i copy the old buggy strings in there? I think a durable translation would be great πŸ™‚

Best regards, Marko

Hey Marko–

Thanks for bringing this up. There are 2 issues that I see going on.

1) The settings are not being retained after an update. This is a fairly significant issue and we have an open ticket for it (I think Josh created the ticket after you posted this, but I could be wrong).

2) The month names probably shouldn’t be in a setting at all.

Solving #2 will eliminate #1 as an issue and make it more friendly for translators. I will look into localizing the month (and day) names rather than using a setting to handle it (which has always been a problem for me anyway, since the syntax you enter those in needs to be fairly specific), and keep you posted.
