Unable to change registrant name

I have a registrant that has an individual ticket and then a second ticket that has himself and another registrant. When I try and change the name of the single ticket it changes both. I need to change the single ticket to another name yet leave his contact info. How can this be done.

Hi,

This can be done by cancelling the original registration, then add a new registration and input the correct contact information.

The ticket that was purchased is no longer available (early bird), and how would this affect the financial portion.

You could do an admin-only ticket, and set its price to match the original ticket. You can remove the payment from the original transaction, and manually add a payment to the new transaction.
