Been running EE for a long time. Pushed some plugin updates, including the MailChimp EE add-on plugin, which failed with an error. Thereafter, I can no longer activate the main EE plugin without the site going straight to a 500 internal server error. I have disabled all other plugins and changed the theme to the “Twenty Twenty-Four” theme, with the same result. Is there a way to re-install the EE plugins without losing all our EE data?
Running version 5.0.12.p
Last night I was able to restore the plugin folder from backup, and that allowed it all to come back online. Then, this morning, I checked back in and was able to complete the update to 5.0.11p (as I had been a few revisions back). The MailChimp and another (I think People) add-ons were also updated.
Good to hear that everything went well, if you have problem with .11 and with other plugin, feel free to let us know. For now, please hold .12 update as we’re trying to look for the possible fatal for some hosting.
If you can let us know your MYSQL version and PHP version, that could be helpful too.
thanks
