Hi there- We previously posted on here about a registration window not loading on all the browsers (https://eventespresso.com/topic/tyler-event-description-widget-with-registration-code-not-loading-in-all-browser/) and the suggestion of changing the iframe code didn’t work when implemented. I am wondering if there is another way to fix this, so that our registration window on the home page loads in all browsers. Additionally, when we linked the registration url in an email we sent out, it was inaccessible by those using Internet Explorer. Please let me know how we can fix this! The website we are mainly having issues with is cancersummit.binayfoundation.org
Yes, when I try to use the short code in place of the iframe code, the text”[ESPRESSO_TICKET_SELECTOR event_id=1136]” shows up instead of reading the code.
That’s something that should be fixed with the Tyler theme. They can wrap the output of that field in a do_shortcode() or similar. The trouble with relying on using the iframe there is iframes are not always allowed by the browser. Generally the iframes are only recommended to be used on another site, and it’s also recommended to add a link as a fallback (in case of Internet Explorer, for example.).
Can you contact Showthemes to see if they can fix that field?
