Hi,

If I will buy the Event Espresso, I am legally permitted to modify the code for my wordpress instance, if I need to change some functionality?

Hi,

Event Espresso is licensed under the GPL, so yes you can modify it. Please note that support does not cover modifications made to the core code, or any custom development (templates, plugins, etc).

Even the code, that customers needs to buy in order to use, like add-ons is licensed under GPL?

Correct, the addons are GPL licensed as well. The licences for the software is for 1 year of support and updates.
