Hi, is there a way to turn off the description from showing, or perhaps showing an abbreviated description on the events list page?

Hi Anne,
If you go to Event Espresso -> Template Settings.
Set Display short descriptions in the event listings? to ‘No’ and update settings.
This removes the event description.
If you would like a short description add the ‘more tag’ (its the 3rd button from the right on the editor) in the event description were you would like the text to stop and update. This will show the description up to the More tag.

I should add, for the short descriptions the ‘Display short descriptions in the event listings?’ must be set to Yes.
