Trouble with Upcoming Events in dashboard feature

I am attempting to change use Upcoming Events in dashboard feature. I have the following problems:

  1. Unable to change the “Show next xx days in dashboard.” When I enter any value other than 30 days, then click Save Options, it reverts back to 30 days when the page reloads.
  2. List of Upcoming Events in dashboard is empty. I have events in the next 30 days that should appear here. They show up in my footer and in the Event Overview page, but not in the dashboard.

Hi there,

If you change the value for number of days and save, it will change the value recorded in the DB. We need to fix the glitch where the field always has “30” in it.

Can you check what it says at the bottom of the Upcoming Events widget. For example, the one on my site says:

“A quick overview of the next 90 days of events. For a complete list of events visit the Events Overview page.”

No. It says “a quick overview of today’s events”. I’ve tried changing the date multiple times without success.

Additional information:

I’ve tried relocating the dashboard widget and get the following response:

I’m not sure if this is related or helpful, but am eager to resolve this issue.

I’m having a similar problem. I would like to show events further out than 30 days, but as soon as I input the day (say I want to show events for the next 60 days) and type it in the box, push update/save, the box reverts back to 30 days. Why is there a restriction on (a) the number of events able to be listed and (b) the number of days you’re able to list events?

Hi Dallas,

I don’t believe there is a restriction. When I change it to 90 and save and go to the dashboard, it shows 90 days of events.
