First off – for user friendliness, it would be great if there was a simple section within WP admin where these strings can be edited.
Nonetheless, I’ve followed all of the steps here to a precise T – https://eventespresso.com/wiki/how-to-translate-event-espresso/ – the language files were edited and saved correctly using POedit, named correctly, uploaded to the correct folder, and still the same “Goes on Sale” text appears, rather than “Price Increases On” since the price of our event will go up after a certain date.
If someone could take a look at this when you get a chance, it would be much appreciated.

If we do that your going to experience a hit on load speeds, PO and MO files are the best method for translations with the least effect on load. The strings need to be saved to the database and then on every request load all of the translations from the database, there’s a plugin that does just that here:

Within the ticket selector the string you need to translate is 'Goes On Sale', I’m guessing your currently translating ‘Goes On Sale’?
