Dear mighty php wizards of event-espresso-castle,

our site uses your event management plugin. However we want to support multiple languages and want to know if there is a way to either have two pages in different languages with the translated registration shortcode (which seems to be a problem for the plugin as far as we can tell) or have the registration shortcode be translated dynamically (e.g. based on a language cookie) on the same page without having to painstakingly replace all the relevant strings by overwriting it via filters ourselves.

Thank you and best regards

Josh

Hi,

The third option is going to be the most viable because the strings can be dynamically changed via filters, either directly if there’s an apply_filters() wrapped around the string, or indirectly with the gettext filter
