Transfering people from one course to another

Hi,
Please see the question from one of my clients below who is using event expresso 4

I’ve just noticed that when I transfer someone out of one course and into another, the participant details still stay in the old course as completed. When we export the CSV file for all course paperwork it looks like that person is still in the course that I have transferred them out of. This is really confusing.

Also, the CSV file exported has many duplicated fields containing incorrect data. Is there anyway to edit the CSV file template?

Hi there,

I’ve just noticed that when I transfer someone out of one course and into another, the participant details still stay in the old course as completed. When we export the CSV file for all course paperwork it looks like that person is still in the course that I have transferred them out of. This is really confusing.

When you use the attendee mover add-on to move a registration from one ticket to another, what it basically does is create a new registration using the original contact details, assigns that new registration to the original transaction and then cancels the original registration.

So when you do the CSV export on the event with the original registration on you’ll see the registration listed with a ‘Registration Status’ of ‘Cancelled’, the transaction status will show ‘Complete’ as its still assigned to the transaction, but the reg status shows the status of that specific registration, see – https://monosnap.com/file/0ow3ZW22tFHal228xcIDW2VgyZ6m6q

I’ve moved the registration with ID 2581 onto another event, and then exported the registrations for the original event.

Based on the above, it sounds like the event admin is looking at the transaction status rather than the registration status.

Also, the CSV file exported has many duplicated fields containing incorrect data. Is there anyway to edit the CSV file template?

You can, but it depends on which fields you want to edit, can you provide some more details?

And also another question please.

The PDF receipt invoice – in the Bill To section
Does not display the State and country only displays street and suburb – is this a bug or a setting in the back end that can be enabled so it shows the full address ?

It depends on the event setup and if you have edited the Invoice template.

Is there a test event I can run a registration on to view the registration form and invoice?
