Transactions page loads slowly for a user with Events Administrator role

Hi,
The Transactions page is loading very slowly for a user who has the Events Administrator role.

It is fine for someone with Administrator role. ie for me it loads in a couple of seconds. If I switch user to my client’s Events Administrator, it takes about 17s before the page content is loaded. The WordPressy frame is drawn and the content area remains blank for about that time.

Can you suggest why this might be?

Hi Anita,

That could be the user’s pagination setting for the Transactions page (set in the Screen Options tab). The default is 20 transactions per page. If they’ve set that 100 or more that would add significant database queries resulting in a slower load time on a typical shared server.

Thanks Josh. It was that; somehow it had been set to 300.
