If I understand EE4’s features, it offers coupons that would allow the user to get a discount, be 10% off or 100% off. Is this correct?
Next, if I have coupon codes ABC and DEF, will EE4 show me somewhere that code ABC has been used 10 times by people registering for Event Alpha, and that code DEF has been used 23 times by people registering for Event Alpha?
Currently EE4 does not support promo codes/coupons, can I ask where you found that information?
EE3 does support coupon codes, although there are no limits to how many times a code can be used or reports on how many times a coupon code has been used and on which event at this time.
It seems that the coupon code function even for EE3 is limited. Are we able to link up the shopping cart of EE4 with buddypress so that we can make use of the coupons function there?
Hi,
Can we have a clearer timeline of these development. We would all love to use EE for development and we do not want to develop based on EE3 and then have to migrate to EE4 in awhile. If its coming soon, we can can also tell our clients that the portion is coming up soon rather than making something temporary. Efficiency issue you see.
Hi, we have an open feature request for BuddyPress. However, we do not have any plans for introducing this specific integration soon (in the next few months) as there are other add-ons that are currently being developed at this time.
