Hi there

I have a tour company and want to atract travel agents. Is it possible to give travel agents their own login to add customers to their own events?

It would also be great to have:

1.facility for the travel agent to add event to their website

2.commision rates

Are these possible/on the list to do or..

many thanks for your input

Hi Jeremy,

From the looks of things you are using EE4 on your site.

EE4 currently only has limited features for handling users other than admins access to EE.

On the current release, you can give users access BUT you must also give them access to other areas of the admin which may not be ideal. See here for more info https://gist.github.com/joshfeck/1f89ac4e0fd7f536f2cb

EE 4.5 (available in the Pre Release channel) does provide more flexibility with this. You can find out more here: https://eventespresso.com/wiki/event-espresso-4-roles-permissions/

We don’t have an addon plugin yet that takes advantage of the capabilities system, but that will come in time.

EE4 does not yet have a JSON API addon, so the only way I know to add events to other sites would be by utilising the RSS feed (the EE RSS feed would be like this http://sample.com/feed/?post_type=espresso_events ).

Commission rates are not currently possible and as far as I’m a aware not something we are planning on doing. I will certainly add it to our feature request list, but I can’t guarantee inclusion of the feature.
