I am using event espresso for a charity which runs events with only a small number of people. Some people pay by PayPal whilst some people choose to pay by invoice.
Can you let me know if the total number of available spaces decreases if someone pays by invoice?
If not, can you suggest the best way of dealing with this. Sometimes people pay late or on the day and I don’t want the event to overbook.
By default, the number of available spaces will not decrease when users select Invoice.
The spaces available is based on the ‘Registration Status’, any ‘Approved’ registrations apply to the sold values of the event, so what you can do is set the ‘Default Registration Status’ of the event to be ‘Approved’.
That means any user that completes the registration process will be marked Approved and you can monitor the registrations from there.
